I-5 Auto Group Senior Scholarship

The I-5 Auto Group wants to support local graduating seniors pursuing career path options that can be achieved without requiring a 2-year or 4-year college degree.  These careers can be very rewarding AND profitable.  Many of these career paths are also in great demand in our country and I-5 wants to do our part in helping a local student achieve this for themselves.

Eligible programs include:

• Automotive Technology

• Diesel Technology

• Electrical Technology

• Plumbing

• Carpentry

• Commercial Driving

• Welding Technology

• Police / Fire Academy

• Lineman
  

Scholarship Application Requirements:

1. Plan to be enrolled in an eligible Technical College/Program in the Fall of 2025.

2. Provide two Letters of Recommendation from a teacher or a boss.

3. Make a video- Tell us about yourself and why you would be a good candidate for this scholarship.

*NOTICE* Selected recipients of the I-5 Auto Group Scholarship have the possibility of being featured in future marketing and promotional material. By uploading your video below, you agree to allow the I-5 Auto Group the executive right to use your likeness in any way necessary.

4. Written essay or include in video: Why you chose this education path and why you would be a good candidate for this scholarship. 

5. Provide official high school transcript.  

6. Resume: One-page outline of high school achievements, work and/or volunteer experience, activities, awards.

7. Provide the estimated cost breakdown of your program.

Guidelines: 

• Selection of recipients will be done by the I-5 Auto Group Scholarship Committee.

• Scholarships will be awarded to the recipient on the school’s scholarship night.

• The Scholarships are not renewable and must be used during the school year immediately following graduation unless an exception is formally approved from special circumstances by the Scholarship Committee.

• Scholarship checks will be made out to the recipient and the school/training center where the recipient will be enrolled.  It is the recipient’s responsibility to notify I-5 Auto Group of their school/training center.
