Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive repair orders from our dispatcher and take them to your assigned stall area.
- Perform work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized.
- Communicate with the Awesome Ford parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Tag, save, & turn in parts for jobs under warranty or if the customer requests that you do so.
- Notify service advisor if additional services are needed, if outlined services are not necessary, or if repair timeline cannot be met.
- Document all work you perform
- Road-test vehicles to ensure your repairs have addressed the customer complaint.
- Quality check your work performed.
- Attend Ford training classes.
- Be knowledgeable of Ford technical service bulletins
- Ensure customers’ vehicles are kept clean
- Administer and follow housekeeping & safety policies.
- Understand & know local, state, & federal guidelines governing automotive service repair work.
