Using conventional or regular motor oil is the most basic form of oil change service. It is not as refined as synthetic oil, but it might be acceptable for certain types of engines. Specific older engines might perform better with conventional oil. Our technicians are highly experienced in all types of motor oils, and they can guide you on the right engine for your vehicle. Full-Synthetic Oil Change

We offer full-synthetic oil change service at Awesome Ford. This is the most refined and pure form of engine oil. It allows the engine to deliver optimum performance, including improved fuel efficiency. Suppose you drive in conditions that can get hot or cold. In that case, full-synthetic oil is a good choice as its better chemical stability allows it to withstand extreme temperatures better than conventional oil. You might also be able to extend the service interval if you upgrade to full-synthetic oil, but before making any changes to the type of engine oil, please consult with our technicians.

Semi-Synthetic Oil Change

We also offer our customers the flexibility of getting a semi-synthetic oil change service. This type of service is more affordable than a full-synthetic change service while offering some synthetic oil advantages. Certain vehicle manufactures require you to use semi-synthetic oil. You can consult the owner's manual of your vehicle for engine oil recommendations.

Diesel Engine Oil Change

Diesel engines require a different type of engine oil compared to gasoline engines. Using the right type of engine oil is critical to the engine's safety, performance, and longevity. With diesel engines, there might be a need for certain additives in the engine oil such as viscosity modifiers. Using an engine oil not suitable for diesel engines can cause severe damage to the engine. We recommend you only use engine oil recommended by the vehicle manufacturer or by our certified technicians.
