Introductory Pre-paid Maintenance

I-5 Car care pre-paid maintenance program offers convenience and value while helping you keep your vehicle performing at its best.

I-5 Cars is pleased to include I-5 Car Care in the purchase price of your pre-owned vehicle.* This plan will help insulate you from the rising cost of covered service for one year or 15,000 miles (whichever comes first). You will also have confidence in knowing the maintenance is performed by skilled technicians.

Convenience

You will receive a pre-paid maintenance package that fits conveniently in your glove compartment. When you take your vehicle in for its scheduled service, simply present your I-5 Car Care coverage service card to your I-5 Cars dealer service representative. Your trained technician already knows what is covered under your plan, which can save you time whenever you bring your vehicle in for service.

Timed Reminders ⏰

Approximately 30 days prior to your scheduled service, you will receive a service reminder based on your individual driving characteristics.

Computerized Service History

At the end of the plan term, you will receive a Computerized Service History of the covered maintenance performed on your vehicle.

*The Introductory Pre-paid Maintenance Plan is included in the vehicle purchase price and is cancellable (see Agreement terms) but not refundable. Additional optional, cancellable (see Agreement terms) long-term coverage is available for a fee and is not required to obtain credit. 

The following will be performed at each scheduled service visit:

  • Oil and Filter Change 10,000 Mile Interval
  • Tire Rotation 5,000 Mile Interval

Multi-Point Inspection, which may include:

  • Fluids inspected and replenished
  • Brake Master Cylinder
  • Clutch Master Cylinder
  • Transmission
  • Differential
  • Coolant
  • Windshield Washer
  • Power Steering
  • Transfer Case (applicable vehicles)

Visual Inspection of:

  • Air Filter (cabin and engine)
  • System Hoses (cracking/leaks)
  • Drive Belts (cracking/damage/wear)
  • Axle Boots (damage/leaks)
  • Shock Absorbers/Suspension
  • PCV Valve (if applicable)
  • Cooling System
  • Exhaust System/Muffler
  • Tire Wear
  • Tire Pressure Check and Adjustment
  • Windshield Wipers


The Multi-Point Inspection of critical components in your vehicle can help save you money by identifying potential problems, such as excessive wear. Early detection can reduce the possibility of a part failure. 

24-Hour Roadside Assistance is also included!

I-5 Car Care coverage also provides you with 24-hour Roadside Assistance for the full term of your Agreement. Coverage includes (parts and fluids excluded):

Additional long-term maintenance plans available

Several long-term maintenance plans are available for purchase, and, if financed, can be conveniently included in your monthly payment (subject to credit approval).

2 years/25,000 miles (whichever comes first) 

3 years/40,000 miles (whichever comes first) 

4 years/55,000 miles (whichever comes first)
