Did you know that in every state, including Washington, there is a Slow Down and Move Over law? It is designed to protect a variety of people including roadside crews, emergency personnel, and even tow truck drivers. So what does this law mean exactly?

What it means is that whenever you see a vehicle on the side of the road, and there is someone helping them, you should slow down and change lanes. Now in some cases, you may not be able to change lanes, but at least if you slow down, it makes it safer.

Now it is not only safe for the person helping the stranded motorist, but it is safer for the person stuck on the side of the road. Here at Awesome Ford, we want everyone to be safe, especially in this holiday season. So remember as you drive around if you see someone stranded on the side of the road, slow down and move over.
